We proudly invite all Taekwondo schools, masters, instructors, students, and families to join us for the 2026 IX Challenger Cup Taekwondo Championships. 📅 Saturday, September 26, 2026 ⏰ Eliminations Begin at 10:00 AM 📍 Oakton Community College 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016 🚗 Please park in Lot A. 🔥 Exciting Events Include: Poomsae • Sparring • Board Breaking • Speed Kicking • Jump High Kick • Obstacle Course • Form Grand Championship 💪 Plus, don’t miss the exciting School Tug-of-War Challenge! Each school may enter up to 10 parents, adult family members, instructors, staff members, or representatives. The Challenger Cup is more than a tournament—it is an opportunity for students to test their skills, build confidence, overcome challenges, represent their school with pride, and gain valuable competition experience. Whether this is your first tournament or your next step toward becoming a champion, every competitor will leave stronger, more confident, and inspired to keep improving!
K-Culture Day
Our K-Culture Event was an overwhelming success, filled with unforgettable energy, laughter, and joy. **Part 1: K-Pop Celebration** our students took center stage, singing along and bursting with energy as they danced to their favorite K-Pop tracks. Their passion and enthusiasm instantly set the tone for an incredible day. **Part 2: Traditional Korean Mask Workshop** Our parents stepped into the creative spotlight. The sheer level of detail, vibrant colors, and artistic talent displayed was nothing short of breathtaking. It was truly inspiring to see such breathtaking creativity come to life. **Part 3: Authentic Bibimbap Feast** The absolute highlight for many was the homemade Bibimbap. The flavors were such a hit that several parents came back for fourth helpings, and many even packed meals to take home to enjoy later. --- A heartfelt thank you goes to **Mrs. Lim**, whose immense dedication made this entire event possible—from preparing the cultural masks and leading the art workshop to preparing such a delicious, authentic feast. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and celebrated with us, and we look forward to hosting many more meaningful cultural events in the future!
